 If you are making your own way to Mainaga Pier or Lea Beach the boatmen will have an Bamboo Beach
transfer sign with your name on, the cost for the boat is only P2,100 [This will be charged to your bill at Bamboo Beach.] There are locked car parking areas. Private boat pick-ups from Mainaga Pier or Lea Beach can be arranged at anytime (with at least one hours notice). The boat takes about an hour to get to Bamboo Beach.
At Mainaga Pier there are porters on the pier - these people earn their living by carrying the bags from the cars to the boat. If you make use of the service wait until they have put your bags on the boat and then pay them. You can pay what ever you like [P50 [about US$ 0.8] a bag is usual] - if you do not wish to use them just say so.
At
Lea Beach there are no porters - the boatmen will assist with
your luggage.
