untouched beaches. Usual departure time around 4p.m. (Back at
Bamboo Beach Resort around 7p.m.).

Cockfight
in Calapan
In Calapan, the
main city of Mindoro, a cockfight is held every Sunday at 3 p.m.
This is
absolutely not suitable for those with a weak stomach.
The trip takes
you along the coast line hills of northern Mindoro, just 2 hours
away from the resort. Upon arrival, the representatives will
explain the cockfight rules to you. This Filipino favorite is
the nightmare of mothers and wives. Filipinos love to gamble and
often it happens the guys come home and have lost all their
money. You will enjoy the atmosphere in this big arena! Make a
hot bet on your favorite macho chicken!
Tamaraw Falls
Located just 14
km from Puerto Galera and near the village of Villaflor. Taste
the sweet natural spring water as you enjoy the outstanding
scenery, the old growth forest, and beautiful rock formations.
Bathe in the pools, bask in the sun, and just relax!
Mangyan Valley
The Mangyans
are the aborigines of Mindoro. These "nomads of
nature" use to travel in entire families from one place to
another by foot, but settled years ago in the mountains. You
will witness their daily life of primitive survival. Their huts
are so small and simple that their shelter can be built in a
matter of days. Because of their roving ways, they can be
difficult to locate, so it's advisable to take our guide if you
wish to visit them.
